Join the AD Concert Band

The AD Concert Band always welcomes membership enquiries from brass, woodwind and percussion players of advanced or intermediate standard, or improvers of around Grade V standard, or good players who are returning to their instrument after a break. 

A willingness to rehearse regularly and fit in with the band are more important than possessing any certificate. 

We are a friendly group who have fun improving together as we prepare for our regular concerts, for which we have a good reputation.

At the moment we’re especially looking for a timpanist and one or two trombonists to strengthen our existing team.

We meet every Wednesday evening (including in school holidays) between 20:00 and 22:00 at Alderbrook School in Solihull.  (Please see map below).

We sometimes also have opportunities for players to perform in small sub-groups, such as quartets etc.
